Around the time that Dr. Dan Angel announced that he was resigning from his position as President of Marshall University, a student at the school discovered video footage of the good doctor 20 years earlier as a contestant on "Hit Man." The student-produced news program did a brief story including clips. And guess who the student was that found the footage (with help from Chuck Donegan)?

  • Just one question: How come GSN hasn't aired Hit Man before?

  • They don't have access to the Jay Wolpert library and the show only lasted 13 weeks 25 years ago, with no revival or international version to speak of. Just doesn't seem like a wise investment.

  • Oh, well I am happy I was able to trade with you earlier!

  • That's what my profile says, though there's only one "N" after the "O". :-)

  • Wait... you are Chuck Donnegan?

  • Thanks for the compliment. :-) And glad I was able to contribute to this piece!

  • I hope it has met your expectations.

  • I was expecting you to do that sometime or later.

  • I have posted that episode on YouTube.

  • Dr. Angel seemed like an okay contestant. Typical to hear daytime contestants have good jobs, a great family and are there to have a good time. Either Dr. Angel's memory was rotten or the ladies were quicker than him at the buzzer. Hit Man is a game of recall & speed, not sure if Dr. Angel had both or just one. I'll give him a 3 star preformance; by no means is he dumb being a Doctor but I guess things just didn't go his way that day. Good try Dr. Angel.

  • A version has aired in the UK with a 3,000 pound top prize.

  • A full episode of the show can be seen at Classic Game Shows.
