ive seen some proffessional photograghs edited with photoshop where theres like a girl behind a bush (close up face shot) and her eyes , hair and the leaves of the bush stay normal color but the trees ,grass, her face, etc. have very low almost gray scale color.... could you please do a tutorial on how i could get close to that

Hey ladimajic! I'm a little short on time right now... but it's really easy to make a desaturated picture saving one element or color... Just create a duplicate layer on top, then desaturate (image/adjust/desaturate)... then on the top desaturated layer, just use a soft eraser brush and 'erase' the desaturated sky layer letting the blue sky below show through.. This is also a really neat wedding flower effect... someone holding a bouquet of flowers... do the same thing. HTH! :-)
