have a hight IQ, like a Fischer 187 doesn't mean you have a high level of studies...Fischer did not finish even the college but was a high IQ ( high level of capacity to solve logic problems). Fischer was so fascinated by chess so much he didn't do much study at school whereas the Russians such as Smyslov were mostly very well educated and quite cultured -Tal was a very witty chap - looks like one of the Marx brothers - they mostly liked Fischer but made fun of him. Tal signed the score sheet for Fischer and so on as he beat him so much.
