It would be scary to play Tal at such a young age.

you might say that a high IQ is a disability,
no one understands you, you cannot talk to anyone about the things you know best, say Fischer would feel he is giving his professional secrets away, everyone like you is you direct opponent.

just because you can read a book that only few people on the planet can understand, don't make you superhuman.

who does best in life: really smart, pretty, strong, or people who have lots of "friends" and are determined to suceed no matter what?

have a hight IQ, like a Fischer 187 doesn't mean you have a high level of studies...Fischer did not finish even the college but was a high IQ ( high level of capacity to solve logic problems).
Without doubt the most strong player of all times but a man with many mental a and personal issues. I love Bobby Fischer chess player....I feel sorry for the human

Fischer was so fascinated by chess so much he didn't do much study at school whereas the Russians such as Smyslov were mostly very well educated and quite cultured -Tal was a very witty chap - looks like one of the Marx brothers - they mostly liked Fischer but made fun of him. Tal signed the score sheet for Fischer and so on as he beat him so much.

Well misogynist is not a very easy word to know! Why should he know it? James Joyce hated what he called "blue stockings"...

And having a high I.Q., or having a big education - whatever that is - doesn't mean one might not have "incorrect" view of the world etc Fischer was very bright and a great chess player. Goebbels was very well educated and very bright.

I was'nt equating Fischer's iq with his views on women, I was just filling you in on how the word came up.

Yeah, i know Fischers story well. He dropped out of high school, focused all his efforts on chess, etc. The rest is legendary.

Well, they made fun of him bc he was unbelievably underdeveloped in other aspects of his life. I disagree, misogynist is a pretty common word quagapp. He also was pretty immature for his age in social settings.
