Tokaiao- The City That Came Before Seiki- Future City Competition 2009-2010

This is Davidson IB's 7th grade team's model, in the years 2009-2010. It represents the city of Tokaiao, a city on the Japanese coast. At the state competiton in Raleigh, Tokaiao lost to the eigth grade team, the City of Mamohatra, by one point. The eigth grade team later went on to win the national championship that year. In the 2010-2011 season of Future City, the now-eigth grade team once again built a city on the Japanese coast, this time called Seiki. Seiki won the state championship, and went to Washington, D.C. for the National Competition. They placed a still-spectacular third place. Congratulations to Mamohatrans, and Seikians, in upholding Davidson IB's place in the Future City Hall of Fame!
