It's a very good game, and worth it. It has a server-full of players all day.

or if the team dies and respawns and the allies/axis team suddenly has multiple mortar teams lol

@imaoldkidnow You technically can if you are on the same team as the operator. You also have to be a mortar operator yourself, which kind of defeats the purpose of it. Just so you know. ;)

Just an update for tank nuts IMO. DH days are over until RO2 when it releases in 15years

@1939dannyboy The tanking aspect has seen a large improvement, yes but infantry combat has been changed and improved in many ways, including the addition of mortars. There is a hot-fix coming in the next couple of weeks that is fixing the issue of excessive weapon drops and some fixes and improvements to many of the newer maps to alleviate players becoming lost or bored in them. We listen to all feedback so long as it is constructive, so stay tuned, we're not done yet. :)

Do you get AT and HE ammo? are they effective against tanks?

@Triple25mm There is high explosive ammunition and smoke ammunition. The ratio of high explosion to smoke ammunition is 6:1 for the Allies and 4:1 for the Axis. Because the Allied 60mm mortar has lighter rounds, the mortar operator can carry more than a German mortar operator.
Allied mortar operators can carry 24 high explosive rounds and 4 smoke rounds. German mortar operators can carry 16 high explosive rounds and 4 smoke rounds.
