I don't understand how people can listen to all of the merits of this program and not agree, I guess people aren't good at math. If this initiative is pushed forward we stand to save money in the long run, and create demand for jobs in the medical field.

If Americans were a little worldly and looked beyond their borders Americans would see that the so-called health care socialist countries Like England,France,Germany & most European countries with social health care systems, then North of their Border "Canada"have a far superior medical system then theirs, enjoy a quality of life that they can only dream about.If only Americans can beleive they could learn from our example and get out of their superiority complex, think outside their little box?

We HAVE to stop Obama on this. Turning 1/6th of the American economy over to the government is a nightmare! Name one thing government can do better then the private sector. Look at social security, medicare, medicaid, the post office, ANYTHING the government get's their hands on is a disaster.

Obama promises Americans what appears to be a bargain by heavily subsidizing their premiums. But the only way to pay for what's really outrageously expensive coverage will be huge tax increases, especially on the same middle class that's being wooed as the chief beneficiary of reform.
