Ducati's new top-of-the-range adventure bike has four different riding modes - but can it beat its three best rivals in each of those applications? Watch the video to see the Multistrada 1200 take on the BMW R1200GS, KTM SMT and Triumph Tiger 1050.

  • Its almost like MCN read our comments down here and improved on their videos. Everyone complained of too much time with fly by shots of the bikes, and now they are gone! Its just pure information now. More than camera angles and the cosmetics, there is so much more information, I'm just loving it!

  • Thanks! A very fair review. It was good to see it compared off road. An earlier review skipped the off road riding. I knew the wheel size was going to be a problem. 17 inch is too small for some rougher dirt roads.

The weak point on most videos here in youtube land and from you as well is sound. Here you've done a much better job than most of your other videos.

  • @010totheteind Why?

  • wow they go through puddles too

  • Normally i do not prefer MCN videos- when they only talk and you hear not the sound of the bikes. But here it was now a really good informative video - it was senseful explained why and what .. good commented. I liked it.

  • @nixcom5 You are writing nonsense. What you want witth a "Versys" against Multipurpose bikes like a Multistrada with less weight and much more sportive punch and handling than a 4cyl. compromise ? You make just empty blabla

  • la bmw gs 1200 le gana a todas esas chatarras porquerias, bmw tiene la mejor tecnologia del universo, asi les duela pichurrias del infierno suerte, buen video, nos vemos en el infierno

  • fuck up u versys more power

  • Nice video but in my opinion they should have used the bmw gs 800 instead of the 1200...that bike is more comparable with the other three....

  • the wind noise is fucking ANNOYING !

  • legal o video....

  • Great video! Note the BMW GS has no chain...nice on long and dirty outings not to deal with lubing or cleaning a chain; in addition, the BMW GSA has an 8.7 gallon fuel tank and at 44-50 mpg you may not ever feel the need to carry those stinky Jerry cans filled with fuel.
