the mets have officially signed 1st baseman mike jacobs. After a stellar showing in his rookie season with the Mets, he was sent off to Florida in a deal that brought Carlos Delgado to flushing. Coincedentally, the signing of Jacobs might be the final dagger in the Carlos Delgado, Mets relationship.I also talk briefly about mlb the show and how its fucking amazing haha

why are they not geting delgado back iam a met fan and i think murphy is a rookie who need another year to improve and mike jacobs is pinch hit guy whos last couple of years were not cool so i think to help the mets down the road is delgado and look what happen last year with pedro.we need delgado!!!!!

well pedro and delgado are completey different....number 1, delgado has severe mobile issues with his hip, and if he signs it will be for a dh role,,,, nnumber 2, hes coming off injury, and didnt look good witht the bat in winter ball...and number 3, the mets say they are not, ut they appear to be broke...they didnt sign pineiro or molina, because of miniscule amounts of money....not to mention, he is getting older, and will not hit more then 15 homeruns
