Remote any application (Windows, Mac or Linux) to any HTML5 webbrowser (no plugin required) how cool is that. Check out how Scott Davis, VMware's CTO of end user computing gave us an exclusive demo of this cool technology.
Another option for accessing Windows apps and VMware View virtual desktops from HTML5 browsers is Ericom AccessNow, an already released HTML5 RDP client that enables users with a variety of devices to connect to any RDP host including VMware virtual desktops and Terminal Server – and run their applications and desktops in a browser.
Ericom‘s AccessNow does not require anything to be installed on end-user devices other than an HTML5 browser.
judging by his answer to the question at the end -- it doesn't look like we'll be seeing this released any time soon. I bet they're infringing on someone's patents or there's still licensing problems with it or something along those lines....because if this really is what it looks like in the video (which is totally fucking amazing) and actually works, they would be shouting from the rooftop and selling it right now.
this will be the future technology for VDI

Real competition for XenApp? We'll see how it works in reality once it's published. Good idea is an HTMl5 interface instead of dedicated app.
