  • How can be so ignorant, and say that Chile is located in Africa.... if you live in Brazil????? I mean take a look at the left of the map... a bit further, yeah after Bolivia.... now look down.

    There you go, that Chile!

    Easy isn't it?

  • Arrau is a genius!look at him.

He is playing one of the hardest Chopin preludes without moving.

  • to be honest i dont like it by itself at all, but after all those red hot previous 15 preludes... what better way to play it white hot

  • @demosj Also this Chopin prelude is not easy from any point of view if you get to study it seriously.

  • @demosj Arrau play works very hard both technically as interpretatibamente, play all the momentous concert Liszt and Rachmaninoff, among others, his technique that he preferred not only declined to run slower times to give an interpretation more "spiritual" and more sound. To give good reports I suggest you read the book "Conversations with Arrau" of Joshep Horowitz and try to understand each of his words.

  • Holy freak'n molely...

  • Insuperable.

  • @jjg7 So do I, but this still amazing :-)!

  • i still prefer argerich's 1976 tokyo recital version

  • @arturon111 agreed--look at how he plays in his 80th birthday recital--if he didn't have technique, he could not play as he does at such an advanced age

  • WOOOOOOW - I live in Prague :D

  • @dexterityhunter People that underestimated Arrau's technique ... really don't know Arrau. He was an incredible virtuoso and his perfect technique allowed him to play (at great level) till the last day of his life...
