@Jensiehh He is in a way right my friend. Holland is the name of the western part of The Netherlands, consisting of Noord-Holland, Zuid-Holland and a bit of Zeeland. But because since the 16th century The Provinces were pacified and unified under one banner and ruled from The Hague which was also the capital of what was once the province Holland, no one bothered when other countries named our land ' Holland' instead of 'The Netherlands' because Holland had become the most important province.
