This is the original song by the original writer and singer. Malcolm Miller wrote Snuff Dipper in the late 40's or early 50's. This soundtrack was recorded in the mid 60's at a studio in Nashville. The song was recorded by Mike Snider in the mid 80's and sold over 200,00 copies. The song has been recorded by several groups since that time. Snuff Dipper also appears on You Tube in many places. We thought it was time to put his version online. Miller still lives in North Alabama in the Huntsville area. He was born and raised in the same area. He proudly claims Ryland , AL as his home.
