  • I don't get it. Why would he call his brother a racial slur? And Brazil has 51% Afro-descendants, not the same as blacks. There was never any one drop rule there, so ppl with half, quarter, and eigth African ancestry aren't considered black.

  • @GGLebo23 It's not considered a racial slur rather a "term of endearment" "Afro-descendant" is the what the social construct of "Black" is. W/ the Diaspora and racial mixing, Brazilians /"afro-descendants" mirrors Afro descendants anywhere on the planet including the U.S. Slaves were brought to a country. Pick any, Haiti Dominican Republic, other islands, etc. The slavemasters raped/married/slept w/the slaves as well as the indigenous ppl. There goes ur racial mixing. Same history in any country

  • @whiner00-cont...when Brazil made open racism illegal! Those in power knew what they did, because how can discrimination be proved, if it is masked? how would those oppressed be able to prove it.? No work, no money, living in the slums because of lack of opportunities. Blacks are discriminated around the world because of organized European oppression! If your eyes are not trained and prepared to identify racist oppression please start by studying the conditions of African- descendents worldwide

  • Tell Rafael that the first Black President in the US is a corrupt, lying, total failure.

  • @whiner00... Please understand that oppression comes in many different shades and forms... I have Brazilian associates and I listen to their conversations about the conditions of Brazil... They are racist against Blacks/Negros without even realizing that its been imbedded in their minds... Brazil has a bigger problem than north America ever did... Jim crow laws in North America... made racism clear and legal; Thus given Blacks and anti-racist people something to fight against directly... cont

  • @wetweasel56 I think you should ask that question to the religious leaders.

  • @ayiti1891 Brazilians are beautiful and strong and has to stay united not divided.

  • @ayiti1891 I am brazilan and i have learn a little about language and culture and i can tell you that one word can have different meaning fr different individuals, people, culture, etc. I believe the people of Brazil has pride and is learning to demand respect by elect, against america interest and the minority that has been in pwer since slavery through military dictatorship, two socialist presidents(Lula and Dilma).

  • @wetweasel56..."Where justice is denied, where poverty is enforced, where ignorance prevails, and where any one class is made to feel that society is an organized conspiracy to oppress, rob and degrade them, neither persons nor property will be safe."

    — Frederick Douglass

  • @ayiti1891...why don't you tell them to stop having so many babies when they are so poor? That is very unfair for a child to be born in such a horrible world.

Every race is beautiful and strong. Don't be racist.
