Where did you read that? Historians are not ready to change nothing in the actual establishment, and in many more fields. Do you see what is happening today only because people are thinking in strait lines? Have you read some of his books? The material presented there concludes the materials that i researched and many participants at the events, please....you look smart. Let's overcome the details, what do you think was the purpose of that huge cover up and bloodshed?

History is not written only by 80years old historians. More and more archives become declassified and more and more films are made based on these archives. Work of historian must pass through criticism and stand to it proving his theory with facts. Suvorov's works don't pass this test. His works are populistic, not scientific.

I'll explain the big picture. Money from USA create the communist party in Russia, the same money create the nazi regime who on the other hand receives know how from soviets, during their colaboration. While Hitler destroys Europe military capacity, someone produces huge amounts of military material and brings troops near the border, splits Poland with adversary, making the war not an eventual one but imminent. History now depicts Hitler and Stalin as lunatics, is not the case.

I had the same reaction when I was facing the fact. It is exactly what they want us to believe. The established historians in west and east, they are the same, they must pay tribute to the regime that give them a career. I mentioned to you about large masses of soviet prisoners taken near border, and tanks that burned on rail platforms, it is all filmed but the people blind. Now Suvorov becomes very helpful, he was in the business.

Sorry, but Suvorov is more a populist writer and not historian. His works are more like novels and not like history documents or analysis. His works are highly criticized even in Russia itself.

Stalin understood that war with Germany is inevitable and Soviet Army was going under reformation and re-equipment, which never finished.

Stalin was preparing for that war, but his time run off.

Here it becomes interesting my friend. Stalin was not ready.....but Hitler was? Read Suvorovs books, he depicts very interesting stuff. On Discovery we see a lot of important video material, but the presentation of that contradicts everything. Large masses of prisoners taken near border,many tanks burning on railroads platform, one million paratroopers, 24.000 soviet tanks vs 4000 german(not one of them heavy). This tells something else about Stalin preparation for war. Here is the debate.....

@IuliTr85 Ah, ok. You are talking about wrong "facts" presented in West as historical stereotypes.

I agree with all you described, except one thing. Stalin was indeed not ready. But it is also his own fault, when he decapitated Red Army in 30s.

That is the general idea, nobody understands what happened in the east. And we see today the same wrong impressions and comments. That Stalin was not ready, russians where many but stupid, the blitzkrieg was invented in Germany(the word yes,strategy not), who planed rising of nazism and the whole war......
