Chapter 5, Part 2

Back with Christine.
As I walked in my house, I closed the door with my right foot and I headed to Emily's room to lay her down. Then I came back out and started searching for my mom. She was in the kitchen starting our dinner.
"Mom, I'm home," I told her as I held myself up leaning by the side wall.
"Where'd you go?" she asked.
"Just hanged with Anna and Madison and I took Emily. She's now sleeping in her crib." I replied.
"Ohh, ok..." she answered, "dinner will be served at 7:30."
"alright." I answered and I started walking out the kitchen when suddenly the doorbell rang. I passed by the living room where I saw my brother Josh on his Xbox 360 playing Grand Theft Auto. Then I opened the door and saw Joe standing there. He then walked past me and said, "Hello, Christine," while looking at my brother playing his game.
"Hey, Joe," I replied.
"Aaa...you remember my name??"he said.
"Yeah," I answered confusingly, not knowing I wasn't supposed to remember it.
"So are you joining us in the game?" he asked.
"I don't think so, I'm heading out," I answered back.
"Let me see... you're not into video games, cuz you're a girl?" he questioned.
"No, just because I'm a girl I wouldn't like playing?" I answered.
"Well, that's what I'm asking.." he replied.
"No, I really do happen to like that game, maybe another time." I replied.
"So, there's gonna be another time?" he remarked.
"Um..yeah, sure..." I stated not really caring if there was gonna be another time or not, "Mom, I'm heading to the library" I yelled out to my mother as I started walking out.
"Alright, be home by dinner," she said back.
"Ok, mom," I told her and then I turned to Joe and said, "Bye, Joe."
"Bye" he said back and walked in to the living room.

With Joe and Josh.
Joe: Hey, Josh! (holding up the Grand Theft Auto, Los Angeles Game) I got the game.
Josh: Dude!! Woah...it's about time, where were you? (receiving the game)
Joe: I just came but I was talking to your sis out there.
Josh: ohh..(setting up the game that Joe brought) where is she now?
Joe: I heard the library..
Josh: ohh ok.
Joe: what is that about? She likes to read?
Josh: I don't know, I guess so..
Joe: weird...I don't like reading..
Josh: neither do I, that's why I'm in playing video games.
Joe: good idea..
Josh: (passing Joe the other controller) ready to escape jail?
Joe: it's on!!!
(both then started playing the game for many hours)
