@CearaQC I'm not sure, but it does help blood RETURN from the distal venous system as well as lymph flow. I always love shoulder stand because I find it somewhat amusing to look UP at my toes :) Namaste!

I just love the fact that she is an older woman and still very beautiful. When I look at her, my fear of aging goes away.

I do this every-time I finnish my abe strength workout
I never thought I looked so odd though...wish my balance was as good as her but Ms kind of prevents that.

The modern person seldom has a harmonious body. Yoga - fine means. But, imho, training of heart by means of intensive breath (natural breathing - during run or jumps) is necessary too. The effort and relaxation, man's and female, yin and yang - should supplement each other.

This Flow is one I use just before bed to get the blood flowing to the brain. Inverted poses are my favorite... please share more of these types of flow!

Could someone please explain the purpose of these poses? Usually in yoga videos there are explanations. Is this supposed to be relaxing, for strengthening the shoulders... or what?
why don't you try to appreciate this video on a non-sexual basis?

or you know, they are recognizing other cultures, appreciating them and learning to integrate their ancient practices in to the common era. since after all we are all humans and all connected. which is the mindset that correlates with what yoga is about along with the asanas, as you seem to know already...
