This favorite worship song tells of how GREAT our God is and how He can do anything, even the impossible. Looking at not just the inner city but just the world around us (our schools, our friends, even in our families), I notice how far we fall short of the perfection of God, especially me personally. Yet, in this life, however imperfect I am, I know because I believe that Christ died for me and has taken me into his family, I am slowly being sanctified, God working in me. Just by looking around us, we can see how God works in his community, in his sons and daughters, and that is extremely encouraging to me, and hopefully you as well.
