This is a little video showing how to squeeze the first activation of All The Small Things.
You'll notice that before I use the SP I start to slow down my strumming. As I do this I also start to move towards the SP meter on the touch screen. By the time I actually hit the SP meter I will already be strumming the notes late, which is exactly what I want.
You will also notice that by the end of the SP use I am strumming the notes early. You want to get as my notes under SP as possible so it is essential that you do this.
This example is actually not my best - but it is a good example none the less. I've gotten some ridiculous squeezes where the note is almost off the bottom of the screen and I still hit it under SP. That's what you'll have to do on this song in order to get optimal. It takes some getting use to ... so keep practicing!!
Hope this helps ...

yup ... it counts as both the strum and the SP activation ... so that note will be under SP. However, there have been some times where I strummed the note by tapping the SP meter and it didn't give me the x8 multiplier for that note even though it was CLEARLY under SP. One more example that shows this game isn't as accurate as say ... GH3.
