i too am a corrections officer and like what i do and stuff like this hits home because you never know what might happen while on shift. to all those that have fallen while in the line of duty may you rest in peace.

ravenfreedom. If you ever did real time, at a real prison, with real inmates, you'd thank God at night that Co's were able to do the "simple" task of closing your door. In the mean time, just be thankful that you were just a punk short-timer. So... adjust your attitude, before its too late,and maybe you can avoid the inevitable. But I'd bet against you, because you just can't resist acting like an asshole. Mark my words. Its gonna catch up with you, and you'll be crying like a punk bitch.

I have alot of respest for the correctional officers it takes balls to face career killers,etc in prison

Try working at my unit I work at the Coffield unit in the State of texas it house's between 4100-4500 inmates at any givin time and to make it tougher on us the state of texas has orderd a 5% budget causing up to 2000 CO'S loosing their jobs

Man... you dont have to like the person; but at least respect the job. CO's and CPO's give their lives in the performance of their duties just as any Police Officer does. It may be worth your time to go to your local jail (assuming you havent already been there for some criminal reason) and actually look at what we office tolerate from those that need to be housed inside the wall.
And if you have been on the otherside of the pod... I pity you. You have more issued then just being "ingorant".
