Mirror's Edge™ PC gameplay at 1680x1050 4xAA and highest settings.
PhysX had to be disabled later on(much lag during glass shattering moments), because I don't have an extended PhysX card. Without PhysX, the game looks just like it does as I recall it from my PS3 playthrough.

Input: mouse and keyboard

Tested on: Q6600, 8800GT OC 625MHz 512MB, 4GB RAM

Watch in HD quality. When playing in HD quality, make sure to pause and let it buffer a bit(~25%) or you might experience videolag cause of the heavy traffic. Yes it's heavy traffic (unless this video is played with a low performance computer). Otherwise you can get convinced by playing the video at normal quality and compare. (HD is N/A at primetime, atleast high quality will be available.)

Q&A
Q:Why the X360-buttons in the menu and GUI?
A:I had a gamepad plugged in the USB-port but didn't use it. So my guess is the game reacts on that.

Q:PhysX enabled and disabled where?
A:Enabled at the beginning and during Prologue playthrough. 1st map PhysX is disabled.

Q:How do I see the difference with PhysX?
A:During the end of intro, she jumps on boxes with PhysX gfx and then over the wired fence.
When first time entering indoor area during Prologue, there are plastic covers at the cold freezing area which are PhysX gfx. These doesn't exist on the console versions. Search for "Mirrors Edge PC PhysX comparison" for more details.

Q:How did you record this?
A:With a capturing software called Fraps. Rendered after in Sony Vegas Pro 8.

  • lets see you Altair or Ezio doing this kinda stuff so quickly

  • One thing I don't understand... is why the game doesn't have motion blur. This game is probably the most necessary to have a motion blur option. lol
