If you want the light problem to go away then go near a window when the sun is out and you should be able to see it perfectly with no light problem...

ebay is better than amazon, cheaper and you usually see exactly what youre getting.

ha i remember seeing them in walmart for like $3 in like 2002. wish i had bought a few then and kept them to sell! i still have mine though. i want to get him to 999 million steps and see if anything happens. i got 1 million steps in 2001.

I bought that EXACT one you just mentioned. Came out to about $75.00 NEW/SEALED.
There was 1 more left but I just checked again and the USED one is now gone!

Pawn shops or eBay are probably your best source to find one. They're like 8 years old or something.
