From 1983, here is The Lords Of The New Church performing (aka: lip syncing) "The Night Is Calling" off their 2nd studio album "Is Nothing Sacred" on the Nickelodeon(!) tv show Livewire followed by a short if awkward interview. To my knowledge, this song was never actually performed live by the band.

Man, I've been looking for this performance for years. I remember seeing this when I was like twelve or thirteen, my first real exposure to "punk." Seems kinda bizzare, Stiv and company appearing on Nickelodeon of all things, but back then this show featured everything from musical performances by then-current bands like the Lords, to interviews with people like Star Trek's Gene Roddenberry. What a blast from the past. Thanx a million for posting. R.I.P. Stiv.
