  • with your spray bars if ur at home could u use a garden hose to power it? plz reply

  • Yes u can use a garden hose if needed.

  • Nice!!! However, what keeps the hopper in place when you're shoveling material into it?

  • I used a larger rubber bungie cord. Keeps it right in place.

  • I use bathroom tube and tile caulking. Works great. Costs about $30.

  • I watched your other video on how to build a sluice box I am simply going to say the same thing I said the last time. I'm building one. Lloyd.

  • do u have video how it works

  • do u have the link how to make the Sluice

  • Nice design and workmanship!

My only critique is you're not taking full advantage of your first couple of riffles with the hopper exit hole being that narrow and that close to the riffles. But not too shabby, I may have to build myself one now.

    Thanks for posting this.

  • A high-banker washes and classifies the material all in one shot. The sluice box does not do this.

  • 1 inch of drop for every foot of sluice box.

  • Good Job... throw some( 3 or 4 ) #8 lead shot in the material to test the box to see if you are losing any gold.

  • 1 inch drop : 1 foot of sluice is a good starting point.
