http://www.controlplastics.com - In this video you are seeing a robot remove the part from the machine and place it on a conveyor belt where it will take it to a machine operator who will inspect the part and then place it into a box. The part being made in this video is a baby bottle, on another machine, a cap and cover are being made that will make the bottle complete. • The robot is like already mentioned moving faster on the Z-axis than is necessary! But you you can also gain some time by letting the robot descend in to the mold before ejecting the piece. Now the robot waits til the piece is ejected and then starts to descend, is there a reason for that?

  • @neilmcauly Thank you for letting us know, we don't know why they did that, we will let the foreman know about it.

  • how is the moving die half rotation possible does this machine always use only two tie bar locking or is this just for this particular die and from which section is the injection possible are there two injection rams or one ram with complex feed

  • @packleader38 There are standard designs from machine manufacturers. This was done on an Engel press.

  • The robot is moving way faster than necessary going back into position... The cycle time would allow for slower speeds, it would put less stress and wear and tear on the robots.

Just because it CAN work fast, it shouldn't kill itself prematurely by all that "hurry up and wait"... JMPO

  • Good, I like that you share this video video you are seeing a robot remove the part from the machine and place it on a conveyor belt where it will take it to a machine operator who will inspect the part and then place it into a box, I wish success always

  • Nice Video you are seeing a robot remove the part from the machine and place it on a conveyor belt where it will take it to a machine operator who will inspect the part and then place it into a box That You Share , So Very Nice Thanks You

  • Instead of having the mold open, eject, then have robot come down and take it, you can try robot come down, have robot pick up part while the mold in ejecting it. In your case, the robot is more of a safety precaution unless you do each cycle manually in which you can have a person open the gate and take part out.

  • Productivity is a result of Efficiency, and not energy efficiency like some are talking right now, but COMPLETE Efficiency...if you don't know the Baselines of your business how can you improve it?... if your Equipment isn't kept and operated properly how can you depend on it?...if your organization has no effective worker’s communication & training how can you get people to do the right things?...get it? Process, Equipment, Personnel, the core elements... get the Industrial Efficiency Triangle.

  • Anyone know if silicone injection molding deals with a much different manufacturing process than this type of plastics injection molding? I'm talking about silicone injection molding to produce something akeen to your typical smartphone/iPhone cases and such.

A point in the right direction for some online learning or reading resources would be much appreciated. I did look, starting with YouTube here, but haven't been able to find much. TIA for your time and courtesy.

  • Anyone know of someone selling a used 120T -180T Engel injection machine? preferably late model 2006 onwards. I'm also chasing a robot take out cell ERS or ERC.

  • @Automatic74 I TOO AGREE WITH THE HYGIENE REASON ,OTHERWISE WISE GRAVITY OR FASTER REMOVAL IS CERTAINLY AVAILABLE .

  • How can plastic be so cheap when the process takes a lot of electricity?
