Does anyone know if a Teresa (or Theresa) Venturini still dances with the Cincinnati Ballet? Cannot find any vids. I used to dance with her in highschool. :) She was awesome.

That is a valid thought- the dancing in the confines of the beat.
But Twyla is a very interesting choreographer in that respect. I am working with her now, to be honest.
Especially her work in Sinatra Suite and Movin Out is another prime example. She HATES it when people dance in the music. She finds it far to predictable, so it is the dancers job to find the chemistry between themselvesand not trust counts.
Follow each other and not the music.
Beautiful Pas.
