@kenfig You were 14 in 1977 or 1967?

awesome Kim Fowley-produced debut of the S.M.!! brief presence of Daevid Allen in the group and his anvil guitar sound is great...Kevin Ayers groaned vocal parts always crack me up

this was also released in the u.s by kim fowley as the beatiful - walters dream.

Back in the summer of 1977 there was a mini series on BBC Radio 1 named 'Summer of 67' presented by Anne Nightingale which looked back at the musical events of the summer of 'ten years ago'. I first heard this track on that show ; great stuff ; i was 14 years old and then 1967 seemed as long ago to me as it does now, strangely though the last 10 years have gone in a blink of an eye !!

Although I will always be potty about Robert's voice, I really enjoy Kevin's here... It reminds me of Mongolian overtone chanting for some reason!... ;-)

B side shows more early typical SM identity than the A side which may have been made to earn some money. Two great songs anyway. Let's not discuss personal taste; this is music was made to be enjoyed
BTW: nice teenager portrets on the cover!

I like this song. I can't see anything "wrong" with it.
Great song! Post more please!
