  • Nat fleisher saw world champs from jack johnson to joe frazier and he still said guys like stanley ketchel, jimmy wilde, and robinson were the greatest.

  • Bloody Hell, no Jem Mace or Cribb, Jackson, Man you poms ruled boxing for a century and a half before the Heenans or John L's.. Charlie Mitchell was 2nd best heavy in the world for a time. I'm kidding a bit. A list of greats must be of filmed fighters I suppose, too hard to rate the pioneers.

  • Jimmy Wilde was the best by miles.

I thought Hearns was from Detroit?

  • @johnosandra, yes, Cooper fought for the Heavyweight title when it meant more. So too did Richard Dunn, Don Cockell and Tommy Farr, who were also unsuccessful like Cooper. So I suppose you think that they are better than Haye as well? Truth is, they're not and neither was Cooper. Haye has unified Cruiserweight and has won a strap at Heavyweight. He's 5-0 in world title fights, Cooper was 0-1. More to the point, Haye would cut Cooper to ribbons. Haye's top 25 all-time Brit, Cooper isn't top 40.

  • @iljn1988 lol cooper fought for the title when it ment something

  • @johnosandra, yes, Cooper was tough - that doesn't make him a better boxer. You stated that Haye can box, but not fight; well, this is a debate on who was the best British BOXER, the clue is in the title. Cooper's claim to fame is a fight that he lost. In fact, he was getting cut to ribbons for the whole fight, save for that one left hook. That aside, what is there? He never won a world title; Haye unified at CW and won a HW strap. Cooper was nothing special, tough but fell short at world level.

  • @iljn1988

cooper gave it to ali for acouple of rounds

haye beat one of the biggest disgraces to the sport of all time

him and arreola are the two biggest disgraces to the sport and i almost wanna cry because these bums of men dont deserve to contend for the legendary status that comes along with the hw belt

i would fight arreolla and being 100%honest i think i would beat him

    cooper was tough

    alot tougher than david haye

haye wants to retire he aint even a fighter

he can box but he cant fight

  • @johnosandra, Haye shouldn't be top 5 (shouldn't even be top 20 yet as far as I'm concerned) but are you seriously telling me that he's not as good as Cooper? Don't be daft. Cooper is possibly the most overrated British figher of all time, and Haye ranks comfortably ahead of him.

  • @harvest21021982 aHAHAHAHHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA

DAVID HAYE BETTER THAN COOPER AND CALZAGHE AHAHAHAHHAHAHAHAHAHAHA

    EUBANK AND BEN
