in 1983 or 84 the smiths were playing at the beacon theatre in NYC, i couldn't get in. it was sold out, but seen morressey in 91 sing your life. One thing i remember was so many flowers on stage. It was unbelievable.

Clips like this make you weep and wish you had been born 10 years earlier and attended those gigs. I LOVE this band dearly and have met Johnny once. A buzz for me. I'm a guitar player.

For future reference it's Morrissey, capital 'M' and spelt correctly, The Smiths, capital 'T' capital 'S'. Show them some respect as a true fan of their (check YOUR spelling) music by using the correct punctuation.

im 23 years of age and i would anything to have went to this gig. I have seen arguably the best pop acts there is today, U2, Oasis, Coldplay, Morrissey but i would give it all up to have seen the smiths live, truely the best pop band ever.
