@jdh239 Mild steel blades like the one in this video are $110.

Even though the blades are expensive,they last forever. You should be using hearing protection anyway.

I like using tools but this saw is NOT for me. I dont like loud noises much. This saw makes miter saws look like something kids would use.

still wonder what it would do to solid stuff. we cant all have every kind of saw.

you use a Bandsaw for solid stock or a cold circular saw which runs slow and with coolant
