The Evolution Raptor Chop Saw is unlike conventional saws. Utilizing circular style blades, the cut quality, blade life, and safety factors are much better than abrasive cut off machines. The Raptor is also cleaner to operate, and builds far less heat in the material that is being cut. Evolution backs them with a one year warranty, and offers 4 varieties of blades available for most cutting applications.

  • Holy moley that thing eats right through it. How much are the blades? Sure spins faster than I would have expected for that particular saw

  • @jdh239 Mild steel blades like the one in this video are $110.

  • Even though the blades are expensive, they last forever. You should be using hearing protection anyway.

  • @erklaerbaer01, you say a cold circular saw that runs slow and with coolant but with what type of blade?

  • I like using tools but this saw is NOT for me. I dont like loud noises much. This saw makes miter saws look like something kids would use.

  • still wonder what it would do to solid stuff. we cant all have every kind of saw.

  • you use a Bandsaw for solid stock or a cold circular saw which runs slow and with coolant

  • What if that pipe was solid I wonder how quick the cut would be then?
