it's quite a different sport from race on tracks. On the road you can find hard to memorize the long way but you can depend on various visual points (houses, walls, trees) to start a brake or a bend , that's not tracks where the bends are very larger and with not visual vertical points to refer...so you can feel lost. On track you duel mostly vs time on the road vs other bikers -that is more spectacular in my opinnion.
