  • Very nice and happy music. But it's not at all Tchaikovsky style, more like a combination of Delius and Lyadov perhaps. To compare Glazunov and Tchaikovsky is to say "Tchaikovsky wrote magic music, Glazunov did too" - but it's two entirely different kinds of magic ... - in my ears :-).

    Thanks for uploading the entire seasons with great images - it's a pleasure to watch and listen to.

  • Glazunov was a most worthy successor to Tchaikovsky! His ballet music elicits some of he magic one finds in Tchaikovsky's ballets...
