  • Dude your age and "work shop" ,you and the fam.are the man! People either LOVE or HATE them, none the less-THEY STILL LOOK ON. LOL. I dig it. I am thinking to build a 27 model t touring 4 door into a rat rod. I can do that build for less $4k myself w/buddies n'beer but a full restore would be like $50k+years--some people just don't get it. Like making a original SS Camero into a Drag only tubbed car. HATERZ! ROCK ON DUDE Hope best 4U at school.

  • @Opeysan thank you very much, and yes full restores are sometimes just out of reach. and we do what we like, some people may so o, its junk cuz its primered, wellll i could care less what those people think. this car is my baby we put long days and nights into this thing to get it to where it is now. thank you very much for you comment

Rat rod is a traditionally based mixed genre "hot rod." "Hot rod" is a broad term. Simple math, a modified "T" with even a little taste is worth more than the 29 year produced stock "tin lizzy," check ebay . It is also the cheapest foundation for a hop up project? The only reason a stock "T" stands out is because the two foot ride height and too tall "T" roof is an unsightly eye sore.FYI A line of stock "Lizzys" looks a lot more the same than a line of individually modified "Gowjobs."

  • @spazevedo14

Not really,There are probably 1 restored T for every 4 POS rat/hot rod ones.

Which stands out more,a line of hot rods that all look the same with sbc's and a 6i chop or a restored one?

  • @Tom741

Restoring is boring. The spirit of hot rodding lives!

  • That's awesome!
