This war has cost us more than it has been worth in every way possible. It was conceived in aggression, justified to us with lies and deceptions, bungled at every step for 6 years, leaves us with a stronger al Qaeda still to be dealt with, and the Republicans have the audacity to gloat because they finally got one tactic right, at best mitigating the damage caused by their ineptitude. More foolish than their gloating is their contention that they and their warmongering are somehow vindicated.
