  • Really want to watch this movie...The story of this movie is something that most South Asians can relate to as our subcontinent went through similar turmoil in the 1947 partition.

As a side note, I have already watched "Caramel" and loved it!

  • @samer17579 then it sucks

  • @Signalement the director (or any artist for that matter) tells his story by his movie or his art work. he communicates with ur emotions too, rather than just put it out there.

i didn't claim that the person that doesn't have my opinion is an ignorant, but he is an ign. about certain issues he's not related to, to judge from the start.

& yes i am as a lebanese can't speak for all the lebanese, but as a lebanese i have the right to relate to the movie or not.

    let's agree to disagree.

  • @psyxou the only way to actually knowing you "got the message" is if the director/writer tells you what it was al about, and he/she is honest. Never the less, we all make our interpretations n these are not more credible than the other. Its also good not to assume that different opinions speak out of ignorance. And yes, I agree that noone can generalise, but I dont think even a Lebanese can speak for all Lebanese people but themselves.

  • @Signalement I didn't assume that. But no one can give "his/her" opinion without actually seeing the movie. And there's always a goal or a moral from a story. Someone might get it and someone might not. But the way to interpret something differs from each person. I do respect any opinion, I didn't say mine was the greatest! But for a non-Lebanese judging the Lebanese, that's really something else, right?

Feel free to agree or not, but don't place judgement on all Lebanese.

  • looks like a good movie but shame on Nadine Labaki for allowing the statue of the Holy Mother Mary to be broken.

  • @psyxou so if someone doesnt agree with you then that someone must be wrong or ignorant? Wow, youre doing your best to prove "the goal of the movie", arent you?

  • The fact that the movie is quite sexist and anti-men seem to be neglected.

  • Waow, I wish this will come to the Netherlands, this looks awesome I love it already and Nadine Labaki is just a real beauty love her ...Love Lebanese people except my ex who was horrible guy like other horrible guys around the globe right? LOL, keep it positive LOVE IS ALL ABOUT, religions doesn't matter
