"It's awfully considerate of you to think of me here, and I'm most obliged to you for making it clear that I'm not here."
One of the saddest opening lines in rock. Barrett on being kicked out of Pink Floyd for mental instability, walking a fine line between sarcasm and sincerity, being bitter yet acknowledging that he couldn't hack it anymore. But what was Pink Floyd without him?
"I'm wondering who could be writing this song?"
Would Floyd have recorded DSoTM with Barrett at the helm?

By any chance, did you resync the audio on this?
I ask because the original audio used for this video was lost and they use the audio from a BBC performance because it was the closest the original. You can tell because some of the instruments played are different. This recording was a bit slower than the original video performance one some parts so the sync is off a little bit.
This one seems to be synced up a lot better than any other one I've seen. If you did resync it-- great job! :D

I like this version better than the original studio recording. I think the organ makes the song better.
