Finally, Blackarachnia gets a body upgrade, straight to Transmetal 2. Perhaps more significantly though, is that with Tarantulas' shell program gone, she's now fully Maximal. But that doesn't make her the "good girl"-type. And who'd want her to be, anyway?

Animated Blackarachnia was inspired by Transmetal 2 Blackarachnia.

She originated as a Maximal protoform, but Tarantulas installed a shell program to make her a Predacon. When she stopped Megatron's plan to change the past, she had no choice but to join the Maximals. With her Transmetal 2 upgrade in season 3, the shell program was removed, and she became fully Maximal.
