I just saw this at Frameline, the San Francisco International LGBT Film Festival, with the director and producer present. It's a spectacular piece of storytelling, with a firm demand for tolerance and compassion placed squarely in the context of Islam. If Islam and the modern West could have conversations that look like this more often, the world would be a much different place.

I just saw this tonite at the Bloomington (Indiana) PRIDE Film Festival. The trailer really doesn't do it justice. It's my favorite film of the festival so far -I N C R E D I B L E!! Had many famous Iranian actors in it i recognized from famous Iranian movies i've seen though i don't know their names. The acting was excellent and oh boy...you need a box of kleenex! Especially near the end. I just ckd and it's not on Netflix yet. Really a high quality film. It's a MUST SEE!! I'd watch it again!
