It takes a special mind to be convinced that government plundering your paycheck is a good, moral, or necessary thing.
Have you ever thought that eliminating government programs and departments won't cause a chasm to open up and swallow the commonwealth?
Since governments don't like to voluntarily reduce their size, a citizenry must take action into their own hands. One such way is question #1.
I say vote YES on #1! If it fails, line 'em up and do it again!

OK, now how are you going to pay for all those services that tax funded? Think the waste is suddenly gone? NO! This is shutting off the faucet but the pipe still leaks. Come on people, use your head. Services will be cut. Pay increases will be frozen for any money the state can't make back up in sales tax increases and other increases. This WON'T work. It will just devastate the commonwealth. You want to kill the waste? Find another way. I BEG. Please vote NO on this question #1.
Now you're trolling. You are free to pay extra if you like. When YOU have less money, what do you do at home? Where am *I* going to have to cut, where are MY FRIENDS AND FAMILY going to have to cut back in order to feed the gaping maw of endless excess at the state? Should I gut my savings to ensure pensions for do-nothings on the state payroll? THIS IS WHAT WON'T WORK.
