  • no way!!! i didnt know about this. and I am shocked that french chicks robe was yellow!! this whole time I was thinking it was blue lol!

  • I love this movie. The first time I saw this I was on LSD and was enthralled. For years after I remembered the movie as being in color, never even thought twice about it. I was shocked to later discover that the movie was in black and white. This trailer brings back my false memories and makes me smile.

  • watched this the other night @ BUFFAS LOUNGE in new Orleans. thoroughly tripped me out, looking to order on DVD ASAP. good stuff

  • @aruiz90 yeah, a lot of bw movies look cheaper in color, and this does look cheap in color...but....

i somehow never heard of this (80s!) movie, and am willing to check it out, in bits and pieces on youtube cause of the colorization....though i've seen tons of bw movies when i was a kid.

    .

colorization gives new life to olde stuff....certainly ok for rap music to rip off old songs, and without even crediting the olde music.

bw laurel and hardy shorts seem more upbeat/fun in color.

  • @monk22yrs this movie just isn't the same in color, it looks cheaper and more amateur in color in my opinion and the B&W gives it a bizarre, dream-like feel. Can you imagine if they colorized Eraserhead??? I think its sad that today there are people who refuse to watch B&W movies simply because they're B&W.

  • @aruiz90 why?

  • This is such a normal movie! One of THE most regular, ordinary, every day motion pictures ever. *SARCASM*! But seriously, what a classic.

  • colorization is bullshit!

  • oh man i want this so much that I'll hurt others....

  • One of the best films ever very strange and very different i love it.

  • I love this film so much it hurts. It's strange and beautiful, I'd recommend it to anyone that likes Oingo Boingo or RHPS.
