Our submission to the "Quiet on the Set" short film competition. It won the "Best Special Effects" award out of the 68 entries screened at the Uptown Theatre. Thanks again to the cast and crew for doing such a great job! An extended version is available on our channel.
While keeping it family-friendly and the runtime to no more than five minutes, we were required to show the inside and outside of a library, a library card, and the national library symbol.
Regarding the effects: The "old film" was done from scratch (no plug-ins) and the time travel vortex was over 100 video layers, 4 particle engines, and 20 light elements.
