@TheBlackKnightmare its a visual novel, basically you scroll down and read and pick one of few decisions that will have impact on rest of the story and how it will play out (routes, there are 3 of them), then you have anime Fate stay night that follows one route, movie Fate unlimited blade works that follows second route, and storywise its about 7 magicians and their servants (famous people/mythical beings from history) fighting for holy grail in holy grail war...

@AnimeDog215 Fate/Stay Night: Unlimited Blade Works. Same story, different route from the game...it's darker than the anime, it's a little difficult to follow, but the fight scenes are just damn awesome.

@Dicion93 You should try watching the visual novel. It has all the things left out from the movie and series. Including the third route left out that I don't know will be done.

@Dicion93 They tell you in the series you know...They tell you that the 5th Heaven's Feel (another name of the war) was way too earlier than usual.

@Dicion93 No. You see it's actually every 60 years, but instead the 5th and final Grail War happened WAY earlier than all the others. It is true because Zeltrecht and Zouken had set up the war when they were young with the Einzbern. So if the war had happened every 10 years, there would have been more than just 5.

@animeboy169 Wait what? 60 years?:O Seriusly, go learn to facts. Theres a reason why Emiya Kiritsugu is the father of Emiya Shirou (Archer) and Illyasviel von Einzbern.. its because the war happens every 10 years.

@Axll54 Its about a war, where the prize (holy grail) chooses the ones to be in the war. each person gets a servant that once was a hero, or had great influence in history. every 10 years this war is started, and in fate/stay night, we follow a boy which parents was killed in the last war, but was saved by one of the persons that was in that war. hope you will see it;) its great:D
