@yummycupcake443 The Phantom dresses as "the Red Death" in a reference to Edgar Allan Poe's "The Masque of the Red Death", In the story, a prince and all the members of his court seal themselves away in his castle to escape a terrible plague known as the Red Death that is sweeping the land. One night, they have a masked ball and, at midnight, a mysterious figure dressed as the Red Death appears. When the others unmask him, there's no one in the costume and all the masqueraders die one by one.

I LOVED the SF production of this and "Masquerade" was one of the BEST pieces!
