It just moves my heart so much seeing those two so young. and so beautiful... My god ! Ludmila was what, 16 ? never saw a video of her young, she was so lovely, so fantastic. and Misha, I just can say one thing - I'd marry him !! Great video :)

My God, aside from his technical brilliance, Misha was also so MUSICAL! Not so fond of him personally, but he was one helluva great dancer.

The dancer is Semenyaka in her teens (16 yrs old). Too young thus sharp yet perfect technically. Check her more 'mature' performances. I believe she is one of the best Phrygias ever. Her Raymonda is exquisite too. Nowadays she is coaching world's best ballerinas such as Zakharova to name one.

As much as I've always liked Misha, IMO no one dances a better Dox Quixote pas de deux than did the Boshoi's Vasiliev....whose athleticism was so remarkably disciplined. Check out his 1972 performance of Don Quixote with his lovely wife Maximova, then both in their prime! Vasiliev & Maximova.....remarkable!
