I think the piano-flute balance is completely OK on this one. Both piano and flute parts are equally important. Tango seems to have elements of both sublime beauty and dark tragedy so this has to be brought out somehow. Would be a great piece to play at a murder scene, a stabbing, say. Imagine the close-up of the blood slowly trickling into the cobble stones, mixed with the tears of the surviving lover.

Very good!, the piano needs to back off more though, it kinda sounds like the piano is battling with the flute for dominence
