I have always wondered about the instrumental part of the song from the original recording, where there is some background chatter. Can anyone tell me what it is that is exactly said and who makes the comments? Part of it sounds like what do you got in your hair. You got a locket on it. Then sounds like the voice says something about a dream whip curl.
If anyone has the real answer to what is being said please comment. This has always been a mystery to me.

@rrrasmus I agree that this is more psychedelic than Strawberry Fields but the point is it wasn't a bigger hit. This and Shapes of Things rank as my personal all time faves. Happenings sounds like it came from Still I'm Sad. Rave Up is my fave
Yardbirds album.

The Yardbirds were great but, trying to say this song is a bigger psychedelic hit than strawberry fields is ridiculous, they don't compare to The Beatles.
