I grew up in Hillsdale. Cool to see this. Using various equipment is done as an effort to be more scientific with investigations. That's good for the field of research. However, speculation, dowsing rods, "mediums" that rely on feelings, etc. only serve to keep your research on the fringe of acceptance. Was it Mr. Grosvenor or the servant? Who knows! All you know is that you got several anomalous EMF readings. Nothing was "obvious". Even so, I hope you continue investigations.

Yes I have heard that the old Mitchell library is haunted. We have not been allowed into the Library to "officially" investigate however.

I worked at the Mitchell Library in the 1980's when it was entirely located in the old Mitchell mansion. That would be a cool place to investigate. The ballroom on the third floor, the servant's area between the old magazine room and the third floor, the old children's reading room, and the basement are all spots that creeped me out. I often had imaginary "conversations" with Mr. Mitchell to pass the time. I would get chills up my spine as a "yes" response to certain questions. It was weird.
