Bass' actions were wrong and he deserved to be punished, but for how many games for how many seasons have teams/colleges properly executed a band performance with a visitors team entering the field without running into each other? Toledo's faculty is also to blame for letting, or preventing NIU from entering the field early.

@BROSxICINGxBROS The better question is if you want to take a football helmet to the face. My best friend was one of those band members that did.

About 9 years ago some NIU players took down some members of a Drum and Bugle Corps. Good to see their tradition of classiness continue.

This is NOT a cool thing to do. It was wrong for the NIU football team to start running out before the band was done getting off the field. Thanks to #6 that band member got a concussion. I'm GLAD he's suspended for the next game. It's what he deserves.
@BROSxICINGxBROS How can you even ask that? No one should push ANYONE down for no reason. Weather it was a band member, a cheerleader, or someone on the opposing team. It doesn't matter who.
