Lumping Daniel and Revelations together is completely wrong. They share superficial similarities as a matter of coincidence. It is only your belief that Daniel is prophecy that makes it possible to consider the two books as part of a whole. You are, of course, welcome to your belief, but don't delude yourself into thinking that these books must be analyzed together.

The fourth beast is a reference to the empire of the Seleucids. The ten horns are the ten kings that ruled prior to Antiochus, who were removed from power in order to make it possible for Antiochus, the little horn, to rule. The book of Daniel is not a book of prophecy. The Jews never regarded it as such. Daniel is a fictional character in the service of a story written by a religious Jew who lived during the persecutions of Antiochus.

The fourth beast--> Roman Empire..Ruled by Seven Houses or Families of Roman Lineage(Latin..Italian,French,­Spanis-German,etc). They are mixed between the Roman Catholic Church and royal families of Europe. The empire goes from 10 horned--> to a 10 horned + little horn(roman catholic church)-->7 horned + little horn(roman catholic church).
