Whether you are rejected in love or a job, the result is the same: You feel devastated. Most people look at themselves and wonder, "What's wrong with me?" You can't look at it like that. You have to realize, most likely, this rejection has not much to do with you. It could be this person wasn't right for you, or you weren't ready for the job. And it seems, a lot of the time, another opportunity arises as a result!

So, when you get rejected, (because you will, a lot) move on and don't torture yourself. Learn from it.

  • huggleexmugglex--It sounds like that person met someone else. That is the only reason I can think of for the sudden lack of communication. Best way to get over them? Socialize a lot with other people! Guys and girls. Just talk to as many people as you can, especially those you don't know very well. Strike up a conversation with someone who you never thought you could be friends with. You'll learn from these people and maybe develop an unlikely friendship.

  • emfun13--Yes, but the sooner you can move past it, the better you'll feel. Time really does heal.

And thank you all for such kind words!

  • emfun13--You have to get over him. Think of it this way--he is not worthy of you! Would you really want to be involved with someone who treated you like that? Is he the person who will have your back for the rest of your life? Not likely. So when you look at him in that light, it makes it real easy to forget him.

    Leslybear--So glad I helped.

  • mollstar12--You can ask your question here or email me through this site. I'll be happy to answer!
