My name is Seller Gill nee Burnett...you mother was my father's 1st cousin Samuel Burnett...their grandmother was Marguerite Jackson nee Stewart. I remember seeing Princess when I was a child in Chicago when she appeared in BLACK NATIVITY at the Chicago Opera House. What a thrill. My entire family has sung somewhere or another....Just dropping you a note to say you have family still here. My dad passed away in 1998 and his sister Gertrude passed away around 2000 I was told.

  • Hello,I just recently found a picture of your mother with an autograph sign & a vinyl album with the name "Princes Stewart" & on one side it says "Jesus" & the other side it says "A City Called Heaven" with her name written on the album & the City Chicago, Ill. I believe my grandmother was her great Aunt. I have not had the opportunity to listen to the album as I must take it somewhere that handles that size album. E-mail me at kallen4@student.cccs.edu.I would be glad to e-mail you the photo

  • Ohhh, see I knew she had some opera in her. Do you sing also ?

  • Thank you so much. She started out singing opera and was encouraged to sing Gospel by the late Mahalia Jackson.

  • I am really her daughter. I do have records and memorabilia, however, my mother sang in countries all over the world. There were songs recorded that are not available to us in the United States. There are songs we (in the USA) cannot purchase. I am grateful for this avenue, which proves there is more of my mothers' music that we may add to our memorabilia and share with others. Thank you, for your comment

  • Princess Stewart passed away, February 10, 1967. Her music does live on. Thank you, for the kind words.

  • @TheRoyalwife If you are really her daughter, why wouldnt you have records of her singing or memorabilia?

  • When did Princess Stewart pass away. What a wonderful gospel singer who obeyed the will of God in our time. Live Forever!
